Central Park

A little while ago, I decided that I needed to add more and experiment more with High Dynamic Range photographs. HDR images, for those that do not know, are images that attempt to recreate a scenery as your eye would see it, not as a camera would.

Today, I embarked on a journey to New York City's Central Park to take some images in an attempt to expand my portfolio.  For this trip I also experimented with gps tracking, which turned out to be pretty awesome.  Using my Android powered phone and the app, My Tracks, I was able to map not only my way through the park, but to sync it with the photographs I took afterwards.

The total distance was 6.3 miles at an average speed of 2.4mph for 2 hours and 41 minutes.
